Throttle valve

The throttle valve has a main body (15) movable towards its lengthwise axis (16) and which exposes varying-sized overcurrent cross-section between an inlet (3) and outlet (4). The throttle body has a cylindrical throttle piston (17) penetrating coxially into an inflow duct (6) communicated with the inlet in each throttle position. The piston is in constant sealing contact with the wall (8) of the duct near the peripheral-side sealing zone (20). The inflow duct wall contains outflow ducts (11) communicating with the outlet. The ducts open into the inflow duct by means of overcurrent openings (12).
