A system and method for providing marketing support service is provided to supply information of a seller and a customer for constructing a marketing strategy according to a publishing company, and to supply information of books to predetermined objects selected by the publishing company. A cooperating unit makes a contract with a publishing company according to predetermined conditions(S301), classifies and manages contract related information(S302). A book information managing unit provides book information to the publishing company according to requested classification conditions(S303). A sale inquiring unit provides sale related information of on/off-line stores according to the requested conditions(S304). A marketing supplying unit advertises the book information to predetermined clients(S306, S307). A client reads the book information(S308) and buys desired book(S309).
