<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luffing jib provided with a structure by which work in a high place is dispensed with and connection of a jib is made possible without danger and difficult work by easily performing the connecting operation. SOLUTION: A luffing jib is provided with end parts 55 positioned on one ends in the longitudinal direction of a divided jib 5 for forming an intermediate jib section and constituted of a pair of lug pieces respectively provided on the back surface side and body surface side, receiving parts 56 positioned on the other ends in the longitudinal direction of the divided jib 50 and constituted of pieces capable of being fitted to the end parts 55 positioned on one ends in the longitudinal direction, and engaging means 9 arranged on the end parts 55 and provided with habit to perforating between the lug pieces. After the receiving parts 56 are fitted to the end parts 55 by a driving source provided in the position different from the connecting position of the intermediate jib section or the top jib section, the operation in which the end parts 55 perforate between the lug pieces from the back surface side to the body surface side, and the engaging means 9 integral connect the end parts 55 to the receiving parts 56.</p> |
