A feed composition containing aloe vera gel and assorted feed is provided. Feeding the feed composition to hens reduces the mortality and produces good-quality eggs containing a higher content of DHA and vitamin A and E. The feed composition is obtained by producing Aloe vera in a gel state and then adding 30 to 50% by weight of aloe vera to assorted feed. During raising hens, the feed composition is fed to the hens at time intervals of 3hr 6 times per a day.
