The dolly has a movie camera (7) mounted on a carriage (1) that has a platform (2) carried on an air cushion. A ventilator (17) is moved in a manner to lift the platform. The ventilator is located outside the platform and is connected by a pipe (23) to an annular chamber (15) situated under the platform. The platform is equipped with handles (21) at its periphery for being manually moved over ground (19). - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method of filming using a dolly.
