A double-cathode partition wall array and an organic EL(Electroluminescence) element applying the array thereto are provided to form double cathode partition walls in an area except a light-emitting area, thereby maintaining an insulation of a cathode electrode by other cathode partition wall even though one of the partition walls is disconnected, while minimizing inferiority of an organic EL element. The first partition walls(10) are formed in stripe type on a substrate(20) where data lines are formed, in scan line direction. The first partition walls(10) are formed in double on an upper side of the substrate(20), and are merged into one in the data lines formed on the upper side of the substrate(20). The second partition walls(12) are used for preventing the first partition walls(10) from being damaged, and are located between sections of the adjacent first partition walls(10) to be connected with the first partition walls(10) in data line direction. Exposed sections of the second partition walls(12) are arrayed to be flat with sections of the first partition walls(10). While the first partition walls(10) are formed, the second partition walls(12) are simultaneously formed in the same height.
