An automatic opening and closing device of a bus gate door is provided to restrict a contact point of a relay from being carbonized by removing arc and to expand the life span of a driving motor by cutting off power supplied to the motor for overload. An automatic opening and closing device of a bus gate door is composed of a control switch(100) installed at a driver's seat and operated by a driver; a control unit(120) coupled to the control switch to generate a control signal for operating each part; an open micro switch(131) connected to the control unit to open the door by coupling power; an open stopper switch(132) connected to the open micro switch to cut off power after the door is opened completely; a cross micro switch(141) linked to the control unit to couple power to cross the door; a cross stopper switch(142) connected to the cross micro switch to cut off the power after the door is shut completely; a relay(160) coupled to the control unit to supply power to a driving motor(150); the driving motor rotated forward and reversely by the relay to open and close the door; a current sensor resistance(151) connected with the driving motor to detect overcurrent; and a relay cut-off unit(170) for cutting off power fed to the relay when the overcurrent is detected by the current sensor resistance.
