A discharge structure of an indoor unit of a separate type air conditioner is provided to promptly cool the center of a room by controlling a discharge passage of cool air to face the front. A chassis(4) has a plurality of air discharge ports(2) at both sides and a lower side. A first wind direction control member(54) is rotatively mounted inside the air discharge port so that the first wind direction control member can be protruded from the sides or lower side of the chassis. The first wind direction control member has a discharge hole(52) communicated with the air discharge port. A second wind direction control member(60) is mounted opposite to the rotation center of the first wind direction control member for guiding discharge of air.
