METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING HAZARD LIGHT / TURN SIGNAL LAMP ON/OFF OF VEHICLE

An apparatus and a method for controlling an emergency lamp and a turn signal lamp of a vehicle are provided to eliminate a flasher unit and permit an electronic control unit to directly control turn-on cycle of left and right rear lamps. An apparatus comprises an emergency lamp switch(110) for turning on/off the emergency lamp of a vehicle; a turn signal lamp switch(100) for turning on/off the turn signal lamp of the vehicle; an electronic control unit(120) for controlling the lamp turn-on cycle of the emergency lamp or the turn signal lamp in accordance with the preset cycle; and a left/right lamp(130) which is turned on and flickers when the turn-on cycle of the emergency lamp or the turn signal lamp is determined by the control of the electronic control unit.
