FLUXGATE MAGNETOMETER

A magnetometer using a flux gate is provided to minimize the effect of noise by applying the driving signal with fc/2 frequency by using an electrostatic current source and a predetermined switching circuit. A magnetometer using a flux gate includes a flux gate(100), a sensor driving unit(110), a modulation unit(120), a differential amplification unit(130) and a variable amplification unit(140). The flux gate(100) is made of a first coil, a second coil, a sensor driving unit(110), and a magnetic core inserted between the first and the second coils. The modulation unit(120) applies the electrostatic current to the first coil of the flux gate(100) with the fc/2 frequency forward and backward. The differential amplification unit(130) converts the fc frequency signal into DC level. And, the variable amplification unit(140) amplifies the sensing signal of DC level outputted from the differential amplification unit(130) by a predetermined gain to output the amplified sensing signal.
