A semiconductor device and a display device are provided to connect defective sections together, or to connect wire patterns adjacent to defective wire patterns with the defective sections by restorable conductive patterns, thereby forming the restorable conductive patterns(restorable wires) while maintaining smoothness of an upper layer with low wire resistance. In defective(wire-breaking) parts of a power line, wire-broken sections(124d1,124d2) and power lines(124n1,124n2) adjacent to the wire-broken power line are connected together by the same restorable wire patterns. The restorable wire patterns can be formed by scanning formation areas of the restorable wire patterns with a laser beam in a gas atmosphere of a conductive material such as tungsten.
