Provided is an air cleaning apparatus for purifying air in specific room such as surgery room, recovery room or ward in hospital to remove dust and impurities in air blown inside and to reduce noise and thermal loss by employing an insulation-sound absorption material containing polyester synthetic fiber. The air cleaning apparatus(10) comprises a body(20), a heat-insulation and sound-absorption material(21) composed of polyester synthetic fiber on inner wall of the body(20) and is divided into an air supplying chamber(30) and an air blower chamber(40). The air supplying chamber(30) has a blower and a number of air feeding holes(31). The air blower chamber(40) has a horizontal compartment(41) and both corner blocks(42) at both sides and a knife block(43) at rear end of top portion of the compartment(41) to guide blown air and to reduce noise during air blowing. A filter(50) is equipped just below the compartment(41) to purify and filter the air then pass through air holes(45). An air guide(44) is mounted on rear corner parts between the compartment(41) and the filter(50).
