<p>A liquid-cooled welding device (14) comprising a torch head body (62) having a helical cooling fin (64) extending along a length of the torch head body (62). A sleeve (66) may be disposed around the torch head body (62) to define a flow channel over the torch head body (62). The sleeve (66) may have a liquid inlet (70) and a liquid outlet (72) to enable liquid (24) to flow into and out of the flow channel. The liquid outlet (72) may be located adjacent to the liquid inlet (70). The liquid-cooled welding device (14) may have a baffle (68) disposed within the sleeve (66) between the liquid inlet (70) and the liquid outlet (72) to direct liquid (24) to flow along the length of the torch head body (62) to enable the helical cooling fin (64) to transfer heat to the liquid (24). <IMAGE></p> |
