摘要 An electronic circuit for protecting lead-acid batteries from substantial overcharges and discharges, which uses intelligent transistors having a field effect so as to control the current flow entering and leaving the battery. The transistors are connected in inverse series, thereby allowing the flow of the battery current to be controlled by means of control signals resulting from a microcontroller. The circuit requires a minimum number of components since said circuit uses devices that integrate several functions in the same housing; the aforementioned provides the system with a high reliability and long service life.
