By housing a driver circuit board (31) in a motorized roller (1) having a built-in electric motor (4), the troublesome external wiring can be dispensed with, thereby facilitating the mounting of the roller on other apparatus. The heat generating inside the roller (1) from a driver circuit board (31) in the roller (1) is dissipated by a heat releaser (32), thus protecting the devices from damage and avoiding failure of control.
