An apparatus, a method and a program for manufacturing small print is provided to prevent the expansion of information amount by employing tape width detection sensor. An apparatus for manufacturing small print includes an input part(10), a control part(20), and an output part(30). The control part(20) processes information from the input part(10). The input part(10) includes a key input part(11), and a tape width detection sensor(12). The key input part(11) generates a variety of control data or character codes given by the control part(20). The tape width detection sensor(12) outputs tape width information by reading physical identification elements. The key input part(11) includes a key for making a frame and a table.
