A microwave oven is provided to store a large amount of cooking information without expanding the size of a microchip by analyzing and resetting cooking information memorized in the microchip of an electronic tag. A microwave oven is composed of an electronic tag having a microchip storing cooking information, a radio frequency identification reader(11) reading cooking information from the microchip, a decision unit(23) deciding cooking information from the radio frequency identification reader to be final cooking information or intermediate cooking information, a cooking information processing unit(24) making intermediate cooking information into final cooking information by resetting cooking information and keeping final cooking information, and a driving unit cooking food according to final cooking information of the cooking information processing unit. The cooking information processing unit resets intermediate cooking information according to kinds of food, and a read information memory unit(25) stores cooking information from the radio frequency identification reader.
