A cooling unit of a heater is provided to solve a problem that when a cooling water circulation operation is stopped to replace or repair a heater, cooling water kept in an internal circulation path of a cooling plate expands due to remaining heat of the heater only to increase internal pressure to damage the cooling plate. A cooling plate(150) is installed to contact with one side of a power amplifier(30) and includes a cooling water circulation path for circulating cooling water therein. A cooling plate crack preventing unit(190) communicates with the cooling water circulation path, and if cooling water kept in the cooling water circulation path expands, the cooling plate crack preventing unit(190) discharges the cooling water. A cooling water discharge port(191) is formed extending from the cooling water circulation path. A soft tube(195) is connected with the cooling water discharge port.
