Machine to cut bread

A bread slicing machine which cuts successive slices has the loaf supported on a feed (1) which pushes the loaf into the cutter one slice at a time. The loaf is secured by extending grips (3), e.g. stainless steel hooks, which operate automatically when a loaf is loaded and the machine is started. The grips retract at the end of the slicing operation.
