A container (10) includes a base (12) having a bottom wall (16) and side walls (18,20,22,24) defining an interior storage compartment. At least one of the side walls has a locking element (48a). A cover (14) is movably mounted to the base for movement between an open position in which access to the interior storage compartment is permitted and a closed position in which access to the interior storage compartment is prevented. A handle (42) includes a handle portion (44) and a cover locking mechanism (46a,46b). The handle is movably mounted to the cover so that the handle is movable to move the cover locking mechanism thereof into interlocking engagement with the locking element provided on the base to lock the cover in the closed position.
