A smoke exhausting device for an ash tray of a vehicle is provided to detect smoke by installing a smoke sensor to a storage case of the ash tray sliding in a storage groove of an instrument panel and to exhaust the smoke by rotating a blower fan of a driving motor by a control unit. A smoke exhausting device for an ash tray(50) of a vehicle is composed of a storage groove unit(22) formed on an instrument panel(20); a storage case(54) horizontally received in the storage groove unit to keep cigarette butts and paper scraps; a smoke sensor(60) installed on the ceiling of the storage case to detect the smoke generated from the paper scraps and the cigarette butts; a smoke exhaust duct(62) drawn out to the upper ceiling of the storage case to guide the smoke; a control unit(70) for detecting the volume of the smoke sensed by the smoke sensor; and a driving motor(66) operated to drive a blower fan(64) to exhaust the smoke through a smoke exhaust duct when the volume of the smoke is over a reference value decided by the control unit.
