A piston for reducing oil consumption is provided to shut off oil infiltration, and to reduce oil consumption and exhaust gas by combining a fixing groove formed in an inner wall of an oil ring groove with an assembling end integrally formed in an expander. A piston(100) is composed of an oil ring having a side rail(12) and an expander(14), and the expander is made of elastic material. An inner end of the expander is combined with an inner wall of an oil ring groove(16) by an assembling unit. The assembling unit is composed of assembling ends(18) bent and protruded in upper and lower parts of the expander, and fixing grooves(20) formed in upper and lower parts of the oil ring groove and combined with the assembling ends of the expander. Sealing is improved between the expander and the oil ring groove by inserting the assembling end of the expander to the fixing groove of the oil ring groove.
