EXTRACT OF PINE TREE LEAVES FOR PROMOTION OF DIGESTION

A pine needle extract for promoting digestion containing pine needle extract or powder as an effective ingredient is provided. The pine needle extract contains a major component of the pine needle without the destruction and has the function of controlling the mobility of the gastrointestinal tract, is effective in promotion of digestion and has excellent anticancer, antioxidant, antibacterial and vasodilating effect. The pine needle extract contains pine needle extract or powder which is obtained by washing, grinding and squeezing pine needles. For an example, 0.24% by weight of the pine needle extract is mixed with 50 to 60% by weight of sugar, 39.26 to 49.66% by weight of corn syrup and 0.5% by weight of orange flavor to give candies containing pine needle extract. The pine needle extract can be added to tea, uncooked food products, meats, sausage, bread, chocolate, candies, snacks, cookies, pizza, ramyeon(ramen), noodles, gums, dairy products containing ice cream, soup, drinks, alcoholic drinks and vitamin complex. To make uncooked food products containing pine needle powder, 10% by weight of pine needle powder is mixed with 40% by weight of unpolished rice, 12% by weight of Coicis Semen, 15% by weight of sorghum, 8% by weight of black beans, 5% by weight of kale and 10% by weight of perilla to give uncooked food products.
