The releasable rope clamp has an eye on the ends of a two-arm pivoting lever (7) and between a suspension ring (3) and a tie rod (9). The right hand arm of the lever is that much shorter than the tie rod that the rope (2) is clamped between the center eye (5) and right hand eye (6), forming a S-turn if the left hand rope end (13) is pulled, and this clamping is relieved and the rope pulled through if the right hand rope end (14) is pulled as a limiting stop (10) prevents a similar S-turn in the opposite sense. |
