A system for transmitting a camera image of an MS(Mobile Station) and a method therefor are provided to receive an image photographed in a camera of the MS as evidence data of a traffic accident field through a PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node) by transmitting a traffic report image photographed in the camera of the MS to a relay server through a BTS(Base Transceiver Station) or the PDSN, storing the traffic report image in a DB(Data Base), and transmitting a voluntarily selected image among the stored images to a police station service or an insurance company server. An MS(10) embeds a camera(12), compresses an image photographed in the camera(12), and transmits the compressed image. A BTS(20) transmits the compression image of the MS(10) to a PDSN(40). A relay server(60) stores the compression image and information about the compression image transmitted through the BTS(20) and the PDSN(40), and provides a selected image among the previously stored compression images to another server by the traffic report request of the MS(10). A DB(70) stores the compression image and information about the compression image transmitted from the relay server(60). |
