ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF NETWORK PARAMETER FOR WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREFOR

A system and a method for setting network parameters for a wireless internet service and a mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to improve QOS(Quality of Service) without wasting wireless resources by setting and storing the network parameters according to application programs, user levels or user preference. A mobile communication system(1400) provides a wireless voice and data service to a mobile communication terminal(1000). A provisioning server(1200) connects to the mobile communication system(1400) through a gateway(1300). A plurality of application program servers(1100-1 to 1100-n) connect to the provisioning server(1200). Each of a plurality of the application program servers(1100-1 to 1100-n) sets a network parameter according to each application program. The provisioning server(1200) receives the network parameters classified by the application programs from a plurality of the application program servers(1100-1 to 1100-n), and transmits the received network parameters to the mobile communication terminal(1000) through the gateway(1300) and the mobile communication system(1400). The mobile communication terminal(1000) has a provisioning agent and a network table. The provisioning agent receives the network parameters classified by the application programs, and parses the received network parameters. The network table stores the parsed network parameters.
