System includes at least one coil supplied at an operating frequency. At the coil an output current magnitude arises. Operating frequency and output current are determined and/or known. Approximate value for the power of induction system is determined by dividing the output current magnitude by the operating frequency. Numerical value of peak current in amps, is divided by the numerical value of operating frequency in kHz and multiplied by 1000.
