An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to promptly clean air by promptly sucking indoor air into an indoor unit and to improve the air cleaning ability. A base(50) has a suction guide part(50a) formed at a front. A rear cabinet is arranged on the base. A front cabinet(70) is arranged in front of the rear cabinet and has air suction ports(70b,70c) and air discharge ports(72a,72b,72c). A blower and a heat exchanger are arranged between the front cabinet and the rear cabinet. A high-performance filter(110) is arranged at the air suction port and is drawn from the front cabinet.
