A 3D ORIENTATION ESTIMATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A MOBILE OBJECT

A method and a system for estimating a three-dimensional angle of a mobile object are provided to perform high performance with low-priced sensors instead of high-priced sensors having high options by a rule-based sensor fusion method using a data pattern instead of a property of a sensor as important elements. A variation of sensor data is produced. Causes of errors are estimated on the basis of predetermined rules considering properties of sensors from the variation of the sensor data. A three-dimensional angle of a mobile object is estimated on the basis of the predetermined rules according to the causes of the errors.
