WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK REPEATER USING POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

A wireless LAN repeater using high speed power line communication is provided to reduce a propagation failure and shadow areas where the radiowave do not reach. A wireless modem unit(211) receives a wireless LAN signal from a wireless AP(Access Point) through an antenna and demodulates it. A controller(212) adds a destination address corresponding to a MAC address of a corresponding computer to the LAN signal received from the wireless modem unit(211) and controls a power line transmission with respect to the LAN signal. A high speed power line transmitting unit(213) modulates the LAN signal received from the controller(212) into a power line communication signal. A coupler(214) couples the power line communication signal received from the high speed power line transmitting unit(213) to a PL(Power Line).
