Provided are a method for manufacturing a metal souvenir and the metal souvenir prepared using the method to keep the souvenir for long term without discoloration, decoloration and/or breakdown, thereby raising value of the souvenir. The method comprises steps of forming printing pattern with dots having different diameters and partially the same color after determining pattern of subject to be printed(S11); printing a number of printing patterns comprising a number of dots(S12); printing the printing patterns into a film; forming a photo-sensitive resin layer on one side of a desirable metal plate for the printing patterns after selecting the metal plate(S13); exposing the photo-sensitive resin layer through the film after arranging the film on top side of the photo-sensitive resin layer(S14); developing the exposed material(S15); and etching the developed metal plate to form the printing pattern(S16).
