The present invention refers to a slab made of compression supports and the construction process thereof. The slab comprises a plurality of compression supports that are consecutively assembled, said supports simultaneously including a set of five elements assembled therebetween by means of clamps. The design of the aforesaid elements provides the support with the required flexibility to obtain the resistance thereof by means of compression, upon embedding the support edges with beams or supports, thereby causing a wedge effect without requiring the use of metallic reinforcements.
