The door (4), connected to a frame (16) surrounding the doorway opening by a hinge (10, 14), has a support (20) to hold the door in an intermediate open position. It is equipped with a motorised drive (40) that moves the door from its closed position towards its intermediate open position by applying a thrust to one component (28) of the support, and then from the intermediate to a second open position or a closed position by applying a traction to the support component. The drive consists of a rotary pin (44) interacting with cam surfaces in a rectangular ring (50) on the end of the support component inside the door.
