An ear microphone unit having an auxiliary memory of a mobile terminal and its operation method are provided to allow a user of a mobile phone or an MP3 player to enjoy a sufficient amount of contents without having to purchase a new product just because of shortage of an internal memory. A control body(11) includes a memory card and a plurality of key buttons. An ear phone(16) is electrically connected to one end of the control body(11) by a certain cable and allows a user to listen to a voice of the other party or music. A microphone(15) is positioned at a proper portion of the cable connected with the earphone(16) and transmits a voice to the other party during call communication. An interface connector(17) is electrically connected with the other end of the control body(11) and connected with an interface unit of a mobile terminal. A memory card insertion hole(12) is formed at one side of the control body(11) to attache/detach a memory card.
