The turbine has two adjacent lengthwise components such as a casing (11) and a sector (12) with gas guide blades (13), with a joint (14) between the components made up of a series of flexible segments (16) arranged in a crown, with each segment set in a recess in one of the components. Each joint segment consists of a flat multi-layer steel strip (24) with a straight deformation zone (25) and a pressure zone applied against the flat polished surface (18) of the other component to form a seal (26).
