PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car front structure for transmitting the load applied from a power unit to a dash cross-member effectively to a body skeleton member. SOLUTION: The dash cross-member 40 arranged in the car width direction is installed on the power unit 42 on its side in the rear of the car body. A first load receptacle part 40B is formed in the upper part of the front face of the dash cross-member 40, in the form of a slope such that the height over the ground lessens as going toward the rear of the dash cross-member 40. A second load receptacle part 40C is formed in the lower part of the front face of the dash cross-member 40, in the form of a vertical wall part extending in the vertical direction of the car body.
