PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation sense-applying type input apparatus capable of informing an operator of an abnormal state through a dynamic feeling without arranging any new apparatus for applying the dynamic feeling. SOLUTION: The operating sense-applying type input apparatus comprises a rotary knob 4, a motor 8 for applying a rotating force to the rotary knob 4 and a control device 20 for controlling the motor 8 in such a way that a predetermined operating touch may be applied from the rotary knob 4 to an operator. An abnormal state of an automobile air conditioner is determined by the control device 20 on the basis of a detected voltage from each of the sensors 30 to 37. When the rotary knob 4 is operated under a state that the automobile air conditioner is determined to be abnormal, the motor 8 is controlled by the control device 20 in such a manner that a predetermined dynamic state showing an abnormal condition may be given from the rotary knob 4 to an operator.
