PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turn trap type flushing device for water closet capable of effectively utilizing the power efficiently generated by tap water pressure as the driving power of water supplying operation or discharging operation to save electricity expense with a good appearance. SOLUTION: This flushing device for water closet is adapted to directly supply the flushing water for flushing the bowl part 2 of a stool 1 from public water supply not through a water storage tank, in which an electric opening and closing valve 4 for starting/stopping the supply of flushing water is provided in the middle of a supplying passage 3 to discharge the flushing water stored in the bowl part 2 from a turn trap part 5. A hydraulic generator 6 for generating electricity by the tap water carried in the supplying passage 3 is provided in the middle of the supplying passage 3, and the electric opening and closing valve 4 and the turn trap part 5 are driven by the power generated by the generator 6.
