The invention relates to a device (1) for adding gas or a gas mixture, especially carbon dioxide and/or oxygen, to water or to a water-containing liquid. The inventive device comprises a mixing chamber (2) into which the liquid and the one or more gases are introduced. The device is provided with inlets (5) and (6) downstream of said mixing chamber in the direction of flow which is expediently directed from top to bottom and furthermore with a perforated plate (3) that extends at an angle to the direction of flow. Downstream of said perforated plate, optionally additional perforated plates (3) of the same kind can be mounted spaced apart therefrom and finally an outlet (4) of the mixing chamber (2) for the enriched liquid is provided. The perforations (7) in the one or more perforated plates (3) narrow or taper in the direction of flow so that the liquid takes up more gas as compared to bores that have a constant cross-section. |
