The pneumatic cylinder has a tube-like cylinder casing (1) made of plastic, in which a piston (4) can be moved along its axis by applying pressure on at least one side. A piston rod (5) extends from the piston which pushes through a plastic cylinder cover (6) to form a seal. The cylinder cover (2) and cylinder base (5) together with piston rod on the assembled piston are sprayed on to the cylinder casing in a separate production step so that the production takes place using spray assembly.
