IMPEDANCE TRANSFORMING CIRCUIT AND POWER AMPLIFIER USING THE SAME

A circuit for transforming the impedance and a power amplifier using the same are provided to maintain the high linearity and efficiency at the multi-power bandwidth and multi-frequency bandwidth by using one amplifier. A circuit for transforming the impedance includes a pair of passive devices(207,209), a first diode(211), a second diode(213) and a switching device(215). The pair of passive devices(207,209) are connected to the node(N) in parallel. The first diode(211) is connected between the first passive device(207) and the ground so as to connect the cathode of the first diode(211) to the first passive device(207). The second diode(213) is connected between the second passive device(209) and the ground so as to connect the anode of the second diode(213) to the second passive device(209). And, the switching device(215) forms or blocks the direct path between the first diode(211) and the second diode(213) in response to the control signal.
