<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense application of load exceeding a fixed value to a torque rod as collision immediately, destroy a rod part of a vibration control device supporting an engine to drop (move) the engine in a predetermined direction and ensure occupant's safety when colliding. <P>SOLUTION: This vibration control device is constituted in such a way that a pair of circular ring parts 1, 2 and rod parts 3, 3a, 3b connecting them are integrally formed by resin or metal and an inner cylinder is provided in a circular ring through a rubber elastic body. The rod parts form an unsymmetrical shape for a pair of circular rings to bring difference in rigidity, and a side where rigidity is weaker is destroyed when load exceeding the fixed value is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
