PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing box for electronic equipment or the like which can suppress temperature rise of the electronic equipment by efficiently ventilating the inside of the box to suppress the internal temperature rise. SOLUTION: The housing box 1 for the electronic equipment or the like comprises a housing-box main body 2 in which pieces of electronic equipment E1, E2 are housed in its inside, intake ports 3 for air installed close to the lower parts of the side boards 24 or on the bottom board 21 of the housing-box main body 2, and exhaust fans 4 installed vertically penetrating the ceiling board 22 of the housing-box main body 2.
