PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent composition for clothes, promoting adsorptivity of a skin humectant component to the clothes, and, as a result, capable of imparting high skin-care effects to the clothes. SOLUTION: The treating agent composition for the clothes contains (a) the skin humectant component, (b) a polysaccharide derivative in which a part or the whole of H of the OH groups of the polysaccharide is replaced with a group represented by general formula (b1): -R<SP>1</SP>-(OA)<SB>a</SB>-B-R<SP>2</SP>(b1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-6C divalent saturated hydrocarbon group; A is a 1-6C divalent saturated hydrocarbon group; (a) is 8-300; B is -O-, -COO- or -OCO-; and R<SP>2</SP>is a 4-30C hydrocarbon group] regulated so that the ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) may be (1/100)-(9/1) by mass.
