PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the bending impact energy absorbing capability of a member through a few mass increase. SOLUTION: The member has a closed section structure, and a porous metal is added and fixed inside the member in an area ranging from the center, where an external force acts on, to 20 to 50% of the distance between connection supporting points to form a bending impact absorbing member.
