PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of the surface treatment of a material which has excellent anti-fouling and contaminant removing property and in which the operation is simplified. SOLUTION: A coating agent prepared by mixing 0.2-5 pts.wt. zinc oxide having≤2μm average particle diameter with 100 pts.wt. curable composition consisting essentially of alkoxysiloxane is applied on a surface to be treated in 0.1-10μm thickness.
