PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus with which a stain solution can be easily discharged to a lesion, or the like, and an examination time can be shortened. SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus 2 is equipped with a flexible endoscope insertion section 4 which is inserted in a living body, a water pipe conduit which is put through the endoscope insertion section 4 and has a water supply aperture at a pointed head of the endoscope insertion section 4, a cleaning water container 7 which is connected to the water pipe conduit and stores cleaning water W1 for cleaning the inside of the living body, a cleaning water supplying means 8 which supplies the cleaning water W1 stored in the cleaning water container 7 into the water pipe conduit, and a stain solution container 9 which stores the stain solution F to stain cells in the living body, wherein the stain solution container 9 is connected to the water pipe conduit, and a stain solution supplying means 23 to supply the stain solution F stored in the stain solution container 9 into the water pipe conduit and a switching over means 24 which selects and supplies one of the cleaning water W1 and the stain solution F to the water pipe conduit are equipped.
