PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tool exchanger, restraining the occurrence of abrasion and noise, and reducing a device cost and a running cost. SOLUTION: In this automatic tool exchanger, a plurality of tool pots 120 each holding a tool are mounted on an endless chain 110 running circularly. The tool pot has a tool holder removably holding the tool, and a holder guide rotatably journaling the rear part of the tool holder. The folder guide has two guide rollers fixed to a pair of plates opposite to each other of the endless chain, and rotatably held on connecting pins of the endless chain, and a turning roller is rotatably held in front of the tool holder.
