The hollow profiled frame which is to fit the insect screen in front of the door of the building has mitre-cut arms (24) wherein the inside wall (38) of the arms has a stepped part (40) which is off-set from the profiled groove (30) of the fitment towards the frame opening (20) and projects like a step towards the door (14) of the building. The width of the step is preferably about 10 mm.
