The protective device for ground obstacles with signal action has a hood-form protective cap (1), with a warning colour on the surface, connected to a device for the fastening of the cap. The protective cap has a through-hole (2) to accommodate a tent rope (6). The device for the fastening of protective cap is a clamping device. The warning colours on the protective cap are luminous or light reflecting colours. A flange-like ring (4) is formed on the lower edge of the protective cap.
